We’re Digital Snowball, a boutique production company in London. For over a decade we’ve made video and content for agencies, and the best measure of how that’s gone is that they keep coming back. We run lean on purpose: a small, sharp core team plus a deep bench of the UK’s best directors, shooters, editors and writers, brought in to fit each brief, so the work stays first-rate and you skip the overheads and overproduction of a bigger shop. What we don’t do is chase the algorithm. We’re not interested in viral content that’s forgotten by the next scroll, or in numbers that look good in a deck and nowhere else. We make stories with enough substance to last — the kind of work an agency is happy to put its name on.

That instinct matters more than ever, because the way people find things has changed. We used to build websites and do SEO; now, as often as not, people don’t search at all — they ask. They put a question to ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google’s AI and get an answer without clicking a single link. That rewards content that’s clear, genuinely authoritative, and built to answer real questions across formats — text, but increasingly video, which has quietly become one of the most-cited sources in AI search. So the work we’ve always made happens to be the work that now gets found, gets referenced, and keeps getting referenced. There’s no trick to it, and anyone promising guaranteed AI rankings is selling smoke. Just good content, made well, gathering pace.
